Shakib suspended for 6-month

DHAKA: Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has suspended all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan for 6-month from all national and international cricket for breaching its code of conduct.

The BCB also will not allow ‘No Objection Certificate (NOC)’ to play any league match till December 31, 2015

The decision came from an emergency meeting of board of directors of the BCB on Monday morning.

Earlier, Shakib met with the BCB president Nazmul Hasan Papon MP, reported banglanews correspondent.

The all-rounder was seen to talk with no other person except the board president.

It was said that Shakib threatened Coach Chandika Hathurusingha to quit playing Tests and ODIs for Bangladesh.
