DHAKA: Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has banned Bangladeshi all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan from all sorts of domestic and international cricket for six months.
The former Director of BCB Gazi Ashraful Islam Lipu said the absence of Shakib in Bangladesh Cricket Team is irreparable loss for the nation.
He also said, “The BCB could not make decision as a proper guardian. It is a big decision for the future of the cricket of the national team.”
The BCB should have been more careful about this matter earlier, he added.
On Monday, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), led by BCB president Nazmul Hasan Papon MP, suspended all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan for 6-month from all national and international cricket for breaching its code of conduct.
