BD Cricket Team to Visit WI

DHAKA: Bangladesh cricket team is scheduled to visit West Indies in the next month to play two tests, three ODIs and a T20 match.

They will leave the country on August 13.

Three One Day International matches will be held on August 20, 22 and 25. The two test matches will be held on September 5-9 and September 13-17.

Bangladesh cricket team has started training preparation one and half month ago.

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has recently appointed Chandika Hathurusingha, the former Sri Lanka batsman, as Bangladesh's head coach for a two-year period.

On the other hand, BCB suspended Shakib Al Hasan from all cricket matches for six months.

Moreover, Shakib will not be granted an NOC to play in overseas competitions until the end of 2015.

The punishment was handed out because of Shakib's "serious misbehavior" with Bangladesh's new coach Chandika Hathurusingha, and for his altercation with a spectator during the recent first ODI against India in Mirpur.

BCB has announced a team of 25 members for practice ahead the West Indies series.
