DHAKA: All rounder Shakib Al Hasan, who was barred from playing for six months, might be allowed to play domestic matches.
Media reports on Sunday that Shakib has been allowed to participate in the players transfer formalities ensuing domestic cricket season despite ban on him.
The Cricket Committee of Dhaka Metropolis (CCDM) allowed him to participate in player transfer formalities, they added.
Earlier on July 7, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) suspended Shakib Al Hasan for six months.
He, one of the biggest stars of Bangladesh cricket, throughout his career, has had a series of disciplinary issues both on and off the field.
Latest reports said Shakib had left the country to play in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) without taking ‘No Objection Certificate (noc)’ from Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB).
It also said that Shakib threatened Coach Chandika Hathurusingha to quit play ODI’s and Tests on behalf of the country.
Following these, the number one all rounder had also been prevented from playing in any overseas Twenty20 (T20) league till the end of 2015.
