Nepal U-23 beats BD by 1-0

DHAKA: Nepal Under-23 managed a hard fought 1-0 win over Bangladesh U-23 in the second friendly football match in Sylhet District Stadium on Friday night. 

Nepal midfielder Sushil K.C scored the only goal in the second half of the match.

In spite of creating several chances during the first half Bangladesh U-23 failed to score any goal.

Earlier, the match started around 6:00pm local time where Jasim Uddin was main referee and Monir Uddin Dhali and Nuruzzaman were assistant referee.  

It was the very first international football match at Sylhet District Stadium. 

Bangladesh Television (BTV) and BTV World broadcast the match. 

On August 26, Bangladesh Under-23 football team drew the first blood in their two-match international friendly series against their Nepalese counterpart with a 1-0 win at the Army Stadium in Dhaka.
