Rains delay Bangladesh batting

DHAKA:  Heavy rains have halted the start of Bangladesh women’s batting in the Asian Games women's final at Yeonhui Cricket Ground, Incheon on Friday.

Earlier, a fine bowling performance by Bangladeshi women bowlers helped restrict Pakistan Women to 97 for six in 20 overs in the match.

Bangladesh bowlers Rumana Ahmed bagged two tickets while Jahanara, Salma, Fahima Khatun took one wicket each and another was ran out.

Earlier in the day, Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat.
