Bangladesh wins bronze

DHAKA: Tigers won bronze medal defeating Hong Kong by 27 runs in the playoff at the Asian Games men’s cricket at Incheon in South Korea on Friday.

Bangladesh set 162-run target in the 20 overs for Hong Kong.

Shakib Al Hasan was the top scorer with 46-run while Mahmudullah, Shamsur and Tamim     35, 26 and 22 runs respectively.

Hong Kong bowler Nadim Ahmed took 3 wickets

Earlier in the day, tigers’ captain Mashrafee won the toss and chose to bat first.

Later, Hong Kong scored 135 runs for seven within 20 overs.

Arafat Sunny bagged three wickets while Shakib picked two wickets.
