KHULNA: Bangladesh started their second innings against Zimbabwe with 65-run lead in the second Test of Bashundhara Cement Test Series in Khulna Thursday.
They have lost Tamim’s wicket to score 41 runs at the end of 12-over at Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium.
Earlier on the day, Tigers restricted Zimbabwe within 368 runs despite Masakadza scored 158 and Chakava 101 runs.
All rounder Shakib Al Hasan bagged 5-wicket for the thirteenth times of his career.
Bowling hero of the first match of Bashundhara Cement Test Series Taijul Islam took three and Rubel Hossain got two wickets.
In the morning on day-4, Zimbabwe resumed their first innings with 331 for 5 wickets after the Tigers had posted a first-innings total of 433.
In the first innings of Bangladesh, Tamim Iqbal and Shakib Al Hasan scored 109 and 137 respectively while Mahmudullah Riyad scored 56-run.
On October 27, Bangladesh won the first Test match by three wickets at Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur, Dhaka.
