DHAKA: Openers Tamim Iqbal and Imrul Kayes are helping Bangladesh make a responsible score in the first innings of the third and last match against Zimbabwe in Chittagong on Wednesday.
The host scored 164 runs for no loss as Tamim Iqbal and Imrul Kayes took 88 and 70 runs respectively after 50-over at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium.
Earlier, Bangladesh captain Mushfiqur Rahim won the toss and decided to bat first in the mach of the Bashundhara Cement Test Series.
Bangladesh have entered into the game with two changes, opener Imrul Kayes replaced Shamsur Rahman and pacer Shafiul Islam replaced Shahadat Hossain.
The visiting Zimbabwe also have a change; quick bowler Shingi Masakadza and Richmond Mutumbami have replaced Tendai Chatara and Malcolm Waller, who was reported for a suspect action in the previous Test.
The home side, however, have already clinched a 2-0 series win in Dhaka and Khulna.
