Mushfiqur’s fifty steadies Bangladesh

DHAKA: Bangladesh are slowly recovering against Zimbabwe in the fourth ODI of Bashundhara Cement ODI Series at Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium at Mirpur in city on Friday.

They have scored 118-run losing four top order wickets after 30-over.

Earlier, the tigers were tattering losing four top order wickets within first 13-over.

Mahmudullah and Mushfiqur Rahim are on the crease with 29 and 53-run respectively.

Tamim Iqbal, Anamul Haque, Imrul Kayes and Shakib Al Hasan came back to pavilion. They scored 16, 5, 5 and 1-run respectively.

Earlier, Bangladesh captain Mashrafe Mortaza won the toss and decided to bat first.

Earlier, both teams observed a minute’s silence ahead of the match in memory of recently deceased Australian batsman Phillip Hughes, 25.

Bangladesh have roped in the No. 10 Test ton fame Abul Hasan and handed a debut to leg spinner Jubair Hossain. Mominul Haque is also sidelined to give Imrul Kayes a go.

Bangladesh have already clinched the 5-match series winning first three matches on the trot.
