DHAKA: Taijul Islam scored a hat-trick on his debut ODI in the fifth of 5-match series helping to wrap up Zimbabwe in 128 runs in 30-over at Sher-e-Bangla Stadium, Dhaka on Monday.
Masakadza, Sibanda scored 52 and 37 runs respectively while Taijul bagged four and Shakib took three wickets.
Earlier, winning the toss, Zimbabwe chose to bat first while Tigers are leading the Bashundhara Cement ODI series by 4-0.
Having won the test cricket series, Bangladesh wants to compound Zimbabwe’s misery by achieving 5-0 ODI whitewash.
