DHAKA: Former captain of Bangladesh cricket team Naimur Rahman Durjoy has been appointed as the operations committee chairman of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) in place of Akram Khan.

Akram Khan has been moved to tournament committee as chairman.

Another former all-rounder Khaled Mahmud Sujon has been appointed as manager of the national team on the eve of World Cup tour.

BCB president Nazmul Hasan Papon made the disclosure through a press conference after a board meeting in city’s Radisson Blu Water Garden hotel on Thursday.
