SYLHET: Malaysia football team is expected to arrive in the district on Tuesday ahead of the Bangabandhu Gold Cup opener against Bangladesh, scheduled to begin on Thursday.
Teams of the six-nation tournament will stay at Rose View Hotel at the city, sources concerned told banglanews.
The Bangladesh football team along with coach, manager, official staffs is scheduled to arrive in the district Monday afternoon to play opening match against Malaysia at the Sylhet District Stadium.
On Sunday, Bangladesh Football Federation announced the 23-men squad for the six-nation Bangabandhu Gold Cup.
Three group matches and one semifinal will be held in Sylhet while the rest at Bangabandhu National Stadium in Dhaka
