Australia ranked No. 1 ODI team

DHAKA: Australia ranked No.1 ODI team ahead of World Cup following their undefeated performance in the tri-series against England and India.

Australia holds a six-point lead over India on the standings after defeating England by 112 runs in the tri-series final in Perth on Sunday.

South Africa will enter the World Cup as the third-ranked nation but with the two top-ranked batsmen in AB de Villiers and Hashim Amla.

Although Australian one-day captain George Bailey may be under pressure to keep his spot in the starting XI, he is the only Australian in the world's top 10 batsmen.

Glenn Maxwell, who moved up 19 spots to No.17, and James Faulkner, who gained 14 places to No.19, were the big movers in the batting rankings.

Banned Pakistani spinner Saeed Ajmal remains the world's top ODI bowler.
