Tigers lose last warm-up match

DHAKA: Ireland beat Bangladesh by four wickets in the last warm-up match of the ICC World Cup 2015 in Sydney on Thursday.

Ireland reached the Bangladesh-set 190-run target in 48.5-over at Blacktown Olympic Park Oval.    

Taijul Islam picked up two wickets while Al-Amin Hossain, Shakib Al Hasan, Taskin Ahmed and Nasir Hossain bagged one wicket each.

Earlier in the day Ireland captain William Porterfield won the toss and opted to bowl.

Bangladesh lost all wickets to score 189 runs in 48.2 overs.

In Bangladesh innings, Irelands’ John Mooney and Max Sorensen opened the bowling and took an early wicket each to leave Bangladesh 30-2 after the first ten overs.
