DHAKA: Stephen Lee has been banned from snooker for 12-years after being found guilty of match fixing earlier this month.
The former world number five will not be able to return to the sport until 12th October 2024, calculated from when his interim suspension started last year, but confirmed he will appeal the verdict.
Adam Lewis QC delivered his decision on the sanction in writing and added that Lee should pay £40,000 in costs.
