DHAKA: Bangladesh spinner Sohag Gazi took a hat-trick in his six-wicket haul on the fifth and final day of the first Test Match against New Zeland on Sunday.
The right-arm off spinner finished with 6-72.
Gazi have scored a century and taken a hat-trick in the same match. He is the first cricketers who certainly took the first a hat-trick and scored a century and took five wickets in an innings in the same Test.
Earlier Gazi was unbeaten on 101 before running out of partners as the hosts were dismissed for 501.
He made his Test debut in first test during West Indies tour of Bangladesh in 2012, taking six wickets in the second innings.
New Zealand scored 287 for 7 in their second innings on the fifth and final day of the match taking lead by 255 runs.
After the over-85, Ross Taylor was in crease with 54 and Ish Sodhi 22 at Jahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium.
