Nirupa appointed honorary member of NHRC

DHAKA: Nirupa Dewan, retired Headmaster of Rangamati Government High School, has been appointed honorary member of the National Human Rights Commission.

Nirupa replaced former honorary member Dr Giasuddin Mollah, Professor of Political Science of Dhaka University.

President Zillur Rahman appointed a chairman, a full-time member and five honorary members for the National Human Rights Commission on June 22.
