Body of minor girl recovered in Ctg

CHITTAGONG : Police recovered the body of a minor girl from Shantinagar village under Bakolia thana on Friday night, a day after her abduction.

The body of Sultana, 8, daughter of Abdul Malek of Shantinagar, was recovered from a drain in Bogar Beel area at about 8pm.

Family sources said Sultana, a student of class III, went missing on Thursday evening.

Police suspected miscreants might have strangled Sultana after rape.

A murder case was filed with Bakolia thana.
