Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina regarding anti-quota movement said until there is a resolution from the court, there is nothing the government can do.
She said, “No one is saying anything in the peaceful agitation against the quota. But if there is a destructive act, the law will proceed at its own pace.”
The prime minister made the remarks during a press conference at Ganabhaban in Dhaka this afternoon, reflecting on her recent China visit.
Mentioning that the matter is now in the court, she said, “Until a solution comes from the court, we have nothing to do and this is the reality which demonstrators must accept.”
