BTV headquarters torched

A group of quota protesters have vandalised and torched the headquarters of Bangladesh Television (BTV) in capital's Rampura.

The incident occurred around 3:00pm today (July 18) amid widespread violence in Dhaka and other parts of the country during the 'complete shutdown' demonstration programme.
