At least 17 people were killed, and hundreds injured in clashes between quota protesters, police, and ruling party members across three districts, including the capital Dhaka, on Thursday (July 18).

It has been confirmed that they died in the clashes between the police and Chhatra League-Jubo League.

The doctors of the emergency department of Dhaka Medical said that of the deceased Mohammad was brought from Azimpur, and Nazmul, brought from Jatrabari area.

On the other hand, two people were killed in the clash in Chattogram city, Chattogram Medical College Hospital Sub-Inspector (SI) Alauddin Talukder confirmed the matter.

Of the deceased, four dead bodies were recovered from Bangladesh-Kuwait Friendship Hospital in Uttara of the capital.

The director of the hospital, Mizanur Rahman, confirmed the matter to the media.

Sabbir Ahmed, Principal of Uttara Modern Medical College, said that two people were killed in the clashes between the agitating students and law and order enforcement forces in Uttara. 

According to the information available from the hospital, a total of six people were killed in Uttara.
 
One of those killed in Uttara is Sheikh Fahmin Zafar. He is a first-year student of the science department of Tongi Government College. 

Zafar's mother Kazi Lulul Makhomin confirmed the news of her son's death.

In addition, students at Dhaka Residential Model College Farhanul Islam Islam Bhuiyan (Farhan Fayaz) was killed. 

Several teachers of the institution confirmed the matter to the media. 

They said that Farhanul died while undergoing treatment at the capital's city hospital this noon.

A driver named Dulal Matbar was killed in Rampura this afternoon.

On the other hand, a student named Yamin was killed in Savar Bazar bus stand area. He was a student of CSE department of Military Institute of Science and Technology, Mirpur.

Apart from this, Dipta Dey, 21, a second-year student of Zoology Department of Government College was killed in the clash in Madaripur. 

The district correspondent of Banglanews said that she drowned in the water after being chased by the police.

Meanwhile, Tahmid Tamim (15) and Md. clashed with the police in Narsingdi. Two people named Eamon Mia (22) were killed. Emon died at Narsingdi Sadar Hospital and Tahmid died at District Hospital.

Several bullet marks were seen on his body, reports or Narsingdi Correspondent.

However, the death toll has not been confirmed by the police administration or the protesting students.
