Police have recovered the bodies of four family members from a house in Bhairab upazila of Kishoreganj.

The bodies were found on Tuesday (November 26) evening in a house in the Rani Bazar Shahi Mosque area of the upazila town.

According to police Johnny Biswas, 32 was found hanging, while his wife Nipa, 26, son Dhrubo Biswas, 7, and daughter Kotha Biswas, 5 were found with their throats slit.

Bhairab Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md. Shahin said that after receiving a call on 999, they reached the spot and recovered the bodies of four people.

An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the deaths, he added.
