The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecasted predominantly dry weather across the country for the next 24 hours starting this morning.
"Weather is expected to remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy skies," stated the forecast issued at 9 am today.
The low-pressure area over the Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas persists, with its associated trough extending into the North Bay.
Moderate to dense fog is likely in parts of the northern region, while light to moderate fog may occur in other areas from late night to early morning.
On Sunday, the highest temperature was recorded at 29.8°C in Sitakunda, while the lowest was 10.9°C in Tetulia.
Nighttime temperatures are expected to rise slightly across the country, while daytime temperatures may decrease by 1–2°C in the Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions and slightly elsewhere.
The sun is set to set at 5:12 pm today and rise at 6:31 am tomorrow in Dhaka.
