Govt increases soybean oil price by Tk 8

The price of soybean oil rose by Tk 8 per liter in the local market on Monday (December 9).

The announcement about the price hike was made during a press briefing on the edible oil situation, held in the conference room of the Ministry of Commerce.

With this adjustment, bottled soybean oil will now cost Tk 175 per liter, while the price of loose soybean oil has been set at Tk 157 per liter.
