The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecasted dry weather to prevail across the country for the next 24 hours, starting from this morning.
The weather will be characterized by a temporary partly cloudy sky, with no significant changes expected in the coming day.
According to the BMD, the ridge of a sub-continental high extends over West Bengal and its surrounding areas, while a seasonal low persists over the South Bay, extending into the North Bay. These conditions are expected to maintain stable and dry weather throughout the country.
However, light to moderate fog is expected to form at various locations across the country between midnight and morning, reducing visibility in some areas.
The forecast also indicates that the night temperature may dip slightly, while daytime temperatures are expected to remain nearly unchanged.
On Thursday, the maximum temperature recorded in Ambagan was 31.0 degrees Celsius, while Tetulia saw the lowest temperature of the day at 9.5 degrees Celsius.
In Dhaka, the sun rose at 6:40 AM today and is expected to set at 5:20 PM tomorrow, providing the city with ample daylight for the day ahead.
