Cargo capsizes in Mongla port channel

BAGERHAT: A limestone-loaded cargo vessel capsized into Kumarkhali river in Rampal upazila on Thursday noon as an oil tanker rammed into it.

The accident halted waterway transportation on Mongla-Rampal route for the jamming of the channel.
 
BIWTA sources told banglanews24.com.bd correspondent that the rescue operation was underway.
