DHAKA: In a latest move, the government Monday made significant changes to the administration, including reshuffle in two Secretary and Joint-secretary posts.
According to separate Establishment Ministry notifications, Rowshan Ara Begum, Director of Women Affairs Department, was made OSD.
Health Secretary Sheikh Altaf Ali was transferred to the Land Appeal Board as its Chairman. He was replaced by Secretary of the Election Commission Humayan Kabir.
MDS of Bangladesh Public Administration Training Centre (BPATC) Mohammad Ashraf Hossain was transferred to the Women Affairs Department as Director while Joint-secretary (OSD) Mohammad Shafiul Alam went to his place.
Naval officer Commander M Abdul Quader was attached to the Fisheries and Livestock Ministry as the General Manager of Chittagong Fish Harbour on deputation while Naval officer Commander Syed Hasibur Rahman was brought back to the Navy.
Naval officer Commander M Shamsul Azam Al Faruque Shibli, Director of Cittagong Port Authority, and Air Force officer Flight Lieutenant Shihab Shams Haque, Inspector of Civil Aviation Transport Authority, were sent back to their respective forces.
