DHAKA: The government Monday appointed additional secretary of the Finance Division M Fazle Kabir as Director-General of the BCS Administration Academy, said an official notification on the latest administrative reshuffle.

In another change, two of the secretaries of the administration were given transfers and postings.  

Official sources said acting member of the Planning Commission Begum Reeti Ibrahim has been transferred to the Department of Statistics as acting Secretary while vice-chairman of the Export Promotion Bureau (Additional Secretary) M. Shahab Ullah as acting member of the Planning Commission.  

In a separate shakeup, Deputy Secretaries at the Establishment Ministry Obaidul Azam has been transferred to Industries Ministry while Dr M Aminul Islam promoted to Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs. Besides, deputy secretary of Agriculture Ministry has been transferred to Water Resources Ministry.
