DHAKA: Communications Minister Obaidul Quader on Wednesday said that politics hinder the process of development of the country.

He made the remark while addressing an interim report publishing ceremony of BRT (Bus Rapid Transport) project stretching from Dhaka Airport to Gazipur at the city’s Ruposhi Bangla Hotel (former Dhaka Sheraton Hotel) as the chief guest.

Obaidul Quader said there that no one should involve politics with any development work as it disrupts the work.

Among others roads division secretary M.A.N. Siddique, Vice Chancellor of the University of Asia Pacific Professor Dr. Jamilur Reza Choudhury, roads and highways chief engineer Mafizul Islam attended the program.
