DHAKA: A High Court on Wednesday granted bail bail to BNP standing committee member Dr Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain over the money laundering case.

An HC bench comprising Justice M Rezaul Karim and Justice Gobinda Chandra Thakur passed the order of bail.

There is no bar for his release as he got bail in the case, the defense lawyers claimed.

Khandaker Mahbub Hossain moved for the appeal.

Mosharraf is now under treatment in Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University Hospital (PG) under the jail authorities.
