FENI: A Feni court on Monday placed three members on a one-day remand over Fulgazi chairman Ekramul Haque Ekram murder case.

Senior Judicial Magistrate Khairul Amin passed the order when the investigation officer, also Officer-in-Charge of Feni Model Thana Abul Kalam Azad produced them before the court with 5-day remand.

The accused--Nur Uddin Mia, and Md Masud--have been placed on one-day remand each and another accused Abdul Kaiyum, placed for 3-day remand.

On 10 July, they were arrested from separate area of the town.

On May 20, Ekramul Haque was shot and burnt to death by miscreants.

Three others, who were on the vehicle, were also critically burnt in the incident that took place in front of Bilash Cinema Hall in Academy area.
