MEDINA: BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia and her elder son Tarique Rahman arrived in Medina to perform Umrah early Sunday.

Khaleda Zia went there as royal guest of Saudi king at his special invitation.

Sources said that Tarique Rahman’s wife Jubaida Rahman and her daughter also reached in Dubai from London and then went Medina with Khaleda Zia in a flight of Emirates Airlines around 3:15am.

Earlier, BNP senior vice chairman Tarique Rahman arrived in Dubai from London along with his family.
