DHAKA: Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) joint secretary-general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi on Saturday threatened the incumbent government saying that no to dialogue means yes to war.
The BNP leader was talking to journalists at a press conference in the noon at his party central office in city’s Naya Paltan area.
Responding to the PM’s comment of ‘no dialogue with murderer BNP’, Rizvi termed ruling Awami League a fascist party.
He also said Awami League does not believe in the spirit of dialogue in the system of democracy.
Avoiding the call for dialogue, Awami League would not be able keeping peace persisted in the country, he added.
The spokesperson for the party said it would bring dire consequences, including the trumpet of war, Rizvi added.
