FROM BANGABANDHU INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE CENTER (BICC), DHAKA: Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) chairperson Khaleda Zia on Monday said people of the country are not in good condition.
They are not living in comfort and peace, she added.
The BNP chief told the journalists while exchanging greetings on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha at the Hall of Fame of the BICC in city at 11:00am on the day.
Khaleda said movement is not done by fixing date and time. We would call it on time. Hopefully, people of the country will come together with our movement.
She also labeled the incumbent government as corrupted and looter, urging people to wage movement against the government.
Khaleda exchanged Eid greetings with the people from different professions including the diplomats of different countries.
BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, BNP standing committee members Lieutenant General (retd) Mahbubur Rahman, Nazrul Islam Khan, MK Anwwar, Barrister Muhammad Jamiruddin Sircar, ASM Hannan Shah, Barrister Rafiqul Islam, Mirza Abbas and Gayeshwar Chandra Roy, among others, accompanied the BNP chief at the event.
