DHAKA: At least five cocktails were blasted in front of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) central office in city’s Nayapaltan area on Wednesday afternoon.

The police also detained three people in connection with the incident.

The detainees are Mohammad Tawhid, Baki Billah and Hafez Nazir Hossain.

Paltan Thana Sub-Inspector of Shaymal, confirming the matter to banglanews, told that three cocktail were blasted in front of BNP office and two other blasted in neighboring areas.

Earlier, Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Chatra Dal activists brought out a possession in the area.

According to the police, the cocktails were blasted from the possession.

However, the detainees denied their connection with Chatra Dal.
