Moudud appears before court in 6-case

DHAKA: BNP Standing Committee Member Moudud Ahmed appeared before court on Wednesday in six cases filed for several charges including corruption case.

He appeared before the Dhaka Senior Special Judge and the metropolitan magistrate court on Wednesday morning.

Moudud’s lawyer Taherul Tauhid confirmed the matter to banglanews.

On December 17, last year, Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) filed a case against Moudud Ahmed and his brother Monzur Ahmed with Gulshan Thana for grabbing government-owned house.

On May 26, ACC Deputy Director Harun-or-Rashid submitted charge-sheet in the case at Dhaka Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court.
