GAIBANDHA: Pickets vandalized 11 vehicles at Polashbari upazila in the district during hartal hours on Thursday.

They also blockaded Rangpur-Dhaka highway and vandalized 10 trucks and a passenger bus around 9:00am.

They also brought out procession in support of hartal in the area.

The law enforcers opened fire to disperse the pickets and brought the situation under control.

Polashbari Thana Officer-in-Charge Mojibur Rahman confirmed the matter to banglanews.
