NATORE: BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia will visit the district on Saturday to address a mass rally.
She is expected to reach the rally venue at Nawab Siraj-Ud-Daulah Government College ground around 3:00am, said party sources.
Leaders and activists of the BNP and allies are in a cheerful mood ahead of her visit. Banners, placards and festoons are seen hanging everywhere of the rally place and all over the district town.
Lighting and digital boards have been set up at the district’s strategic points. Thousands of pictures of BNP leaders including party chief Khaleda Zia, senior vice chairman Tarique Rahman, and its founder Ziaur Rahman are seen hanging and pasting on walls across the district town.
Nearly 300 archways have been set up on the roads and the highways.
At the rally ground, a 60-feet width and 40-feet length stage has been prepared. Nearly, 200 mikes have been set up all over the rally place and its adjacent area.
BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, its standing committee members Mirza Abbas, Nazrul Islam Khan, Nayeb-e-Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Mujibur Rahman, Bangladesh Jatiya Party (BJP) Chairman Andaleeve Rahman Partha and other alliance leaders will address the rally.
Singers Monir Khan, Kanak Chanpa and Rizia Parvin will perform at the rally venue.
