FROM NATORE: Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on Saturday said the incumbent government has become detached from people.
He was addressing a mass rally, organized by 20-party alliance at Nabab Siraj-ud-Doula Government College playground in Natore.
Fakhrul said, “Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has become detached from people.”
Terming the government illegal, the spokesperson for the party said the government wants to remain in power by killing and force-hiding by police.
He also claimed that the law enforcers are filing cases against the BNP leaders and activists and arresting them without any crime.
They are filing new cases one after another against BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia, he added.
