SHERPUR (BOGRA): Health Minister Mohammad Nasim on Saturday said BNP senior vice-chairman Tarique Rahman is enough for the debacle of his party.
He was addressing a fresher reception program of Sherpur Town Club Public Library College in the district.
The ruling Awami League lawmaker also claimed that boycott of the January 5 election was a grate mistake for BNP.
BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia will have to wait till 2019 for the next election and lament for that, he added.
Nasim also said that the government is working for the development of the country especially in power sector, education and medical service departments aiming to reduce poverty.
He also said that Awami League is not afraid of demonstration.
BNP should learn from AL how to wage movement, he said.
Lawmakers, government officials and senior Awami League leaders also spoke at the program chaired by Mojibor Raman Majnu, district AL general secretary and also president of the board of directors of Sherpur Town Club Public Library College.
