CHITTAGONG: Islami Chhatra Shibir President of Chittagong North unit was detained again on Monday.

Sources told banglanews that the detainee, Kutubuddin Shibli, was held around 2:30pm from in front of Chittagong Central Jail just after he was freed.

However, this time he was held by a team of the detective branch (DB) of police, sources added.

Confirming the matter, Satkania Thana officer-in-charge (OC) Khaled Hossain said that Shibli might be shown arrested at two cases filed earlier regarding pre-election violence in 2013.

Nevertheless, a police source informed the media that the Chittagong North Shibir chief is now at Nasirabad DB office.
