DHAKA: Opposition BNP standing committee member Barrister Moudud Ahmed categorically said if BNP go power in upcoming parliament election then the 15th amendment of the constitution will be repealed.
He came up with the assertion while addressing a protest meeting at Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) auditorium on Friday.
Moudud claimed ruling government did the 15th amendment of the constitution to permanent their power and the amendment was completely against the constitution.
Moudud, senior leader of the party threatened if there is any amendment again to sit in power longtime then that will be protested.
He also said, “No election under the present government but if government wants to amend the constitution to restore caretaker government system then opposition will support them.”
