NEW DELHI: India`s cricket board on Friday revised the schedule of Australia`s Test and one-day tour of the country in September-October.
The two Tests have been advanced by a day but the dates continued to clash with the Commonwealth Games to be held in New Delhi from October 3-14, according to the new itinerary released by the board.
The Games` organisers had written to the sports ministry earlier this month asking them to ensure the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) postponed the tour to avoid a clash of dates.
But the BCCI said Friday they had not been approached by anyone for any change in the itinerary, the Press Trust of India reported.
Australia open the tour with a three-day practice match in Mohali followed by the Tests and three one-day internationals.
The BCCI also announced the complete schedule of New Zealand`s tour of India in November-December.
