The Dhaka Elevated Expressway will remain closed to the public until the government fully lifts the curfew, the operating company said on Wednesday.
The First Dhaka Elevated Expressway Company Limited (FDEE), which operates the expressway, made the decision after two toll plazas (Uttara and Banani) were torched by miscreants during the recent violence over the quota reform movement.
Captain (retd) Hasib Hasan Khan, Manager (Operations and Maintenance) of FDEE, confirmed the matter to the newsmen on Wednesday.
