A fire broke out on the second floor of a four-story building housing a law chamber in Purana Paltan of Dhaka, on Tuesday (Jan 7) morning.

The fire started at 9:17 AM, confirmed Lima Khanam, duty officer at the Fire Service and Civil Defence. Six firefighting units were dispatched to the scene and are working to bring the blaze under control.

The cause of the fire, extent of damage, and reports of casualties, if any, remain unknown at this stage.
