Ministry of Home Affairs has ordered to transfer four senior officials of Bangladesh Police to different units.

A transfer order, signed by Deputy Secretary Md. Mahbubur Rahman under the President's directive was issued on January 7.

According to transfer order DIG Md. Sarwar of the Special Branch has been appointed as Additional Commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), Additional DIG Md. Atikur Rahman from the Police Headquarters and Additional DIG Mohammad Enamul Haque of Rajshahi Sardah Police Academy has been posted as Joint Commissioners of DMP, SP ANM Sajedur Rahman of SB will serve as the Superintendent of Police (SP) in Habiganj.

An earlier order transferring SP Md. Aslam Shahjad to Habiganj from the DIG Office, Dhaka Range, has been canceled, read the order statement.
