DHAKA: Police recovered the hanging body of a girl from a slum at Bhashantek under Kafrul thana in the capital on Saturday night.
The dead was identified as Taslima,11, daughter of Mohammd Israfil.
Israfil told banglanews24.com.bd that Taslima exchanged hot words with her mother Madina Begum at night. Later, she committed suicide hanging herself at around 11-30 pm.
Kafrul police recovered the body and sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.
A UD case was filed with Kafrul thana.
