DHAKA: A 3-day Deputy Commissioners` conference begins Sunday with problems facing the district-admin chiefs on the table for directions from the highest level of government.

Prime Minister Shiekh Hasina would inaugurate the meet at the international conference centre Shapla in premier’s office at 10 am.

Sources said the premier would discuss various problems with the field-level high officials. Divisional commissioners will also attend the meet.     

“They would want directions from the head of government to solve problems they face during duties in the district level,” said one source.

The sources told banglanews24.com.bd that the PM might give them directions to be alert for keeping the market prices stable for the upcoming Ramadan, and controlling the law-and-order situation strictly regarding war criminals’ trial, and restoration of the constitution of `72.

According to the cabinet division, more than 500 problems would be placed along with government evaluation in the second DC conference under the ruling government for discussion.
