DHAKA: The 30th preliminary examinations under Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) will be held on Friday.

The examinations will be held in the six divisions at a time beginning 10am.

A total of 148,158 candidates will sit for the exam against 2572 posts.  

Of the total candidates, 98,843 from Dhaka, 18303 from Rajshahi, 12,797 from Chittagong, 3091 from Baisal, 4860 from Sylhet and 10264 candidates from Khulna will take part in the examinations.
